With Winter upon us, I’ve caught myself drawn into deep warm chocolate tones in all its versions! From funky Incense Burners to a magnificent Journal I’ve been using that brings gratitude and productivity to my everyday, here are the products I’ve been absolutely loving this month! I’d love to discover which items you’ve also been loving in the comments below!

1. GIORGETTI NAGANO SKIS
For ski lovers, these sublime skis by Giorgetti made of fossil oak sourced from rivers makes them extra special. Because in the end, what is a ski trip without a pair of beautiful skis that last for years and years? The wood is treated with durable varnishes and oils, and the bases are of the highest quality to ensure the least amount of drag over all types of snow surfaces. Plan a trip to your favourite ski resort to break in these elegant, tasteful and understated skis!
2. L’OBJET MONSTER INCENSE BURNER
I love the ability that incenses have to create a cosy atmosphere, and I tend to use them on Sunday mornings at home or during my yoga and meditation sessions. I have recently fallen in love with this super cool Monster incense holder, crafted from White porcelain and set on a brass base. When lit, you can watch the scented smoke emerge from its horns. Designed by Los Angeles based artists Simon and Nikolai Haas for L’Objet.

1.150 €, available at Femont Galvan Designers.
3. THE 5 MINUTE JOURNAL
I discovered The 5 Minute Journal a few years ago thanks to Alex Ikonn, co-founder of Intelligent Change. If the question “How to Maintain a Positive Mindset” has ever crossed your mind, this is hands down one of the best things that has helped me on my personal journey of wellbeing. One of the best parts is that the journal only takes 5 minutes of your day!
The journal asks you three morning questions designed to instill gratitude, set purpose for your day and create empowering beliefs. I’ve noticed that when you start your morning off on the right foot and filled with gratitude, days seem to go by smoother and you start noticing all of the little miracles happening throughout the day!
At the end of the day, right before going to sleep, two night questions ask you to reflect on the amazing things that happened throughout your day and how you could improve for tomorrow.

Ultimately, it’s one of the simplest ways I’ve found to introduce a daily gratitude practice in my life, and after using it month by month, I’ve really noticed how much it’s benefiting my life. There’s an App version available too, where you can include an image of the best moment of the day. A fantastic way to maintain a positive mindset throughout this 2021!
20,95 €, available at The Intelligent Change.
4. OLUCE ATOLLO LAMP
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977 for the Italian lighting company Oluce, the Atollo lamp has been said to completely revolutionize our image of a classic table lamp. Combining geometrical shapes of cylinder, cone and hemisphere, Atollo is a lamp that is extremely refined and bold at the same time, and it has become an icon of modern Italian design. Atollo won the 1979 Compasso d’Oro design award and it belongs to permanent collections of many significant art museums. The lamp is available in several finishes: gold, black, satin bronze or white opal glass.
Personally, I love using the sophisticated gold version, or the masculine black, on bedside tables or on a living room console table – a true statement piece in any room!
From 600 €, available at Femont Galvan Designers.
5. ENTRYWAYS OF MILAN BOOK BY TASCHEN
An absolute favourite home accessory of mine are coffee books! I love collecting them based on my interests which tend to be about fashion photography, architecture and design or travel, and I scatter them around my home on bookshelves and (of course!) on coffee tables. In a recent project, this XL book that we placed in a client’s home really caught my attention, as it features some of Milan’s most famous architects, from Gio Ponti to Piero Portaluppi, and showcases the city’s design DNA.
On this note, would you like for me to share in another post my favourite coffee table books to decorate your home? 🙂

50 €, available at Femont Galvan Designers.
